Nesloney Dental Studio
At Nesloney Dental Studio, conveniently located in Hughes Landing, the surroundings are modern and the technology is cutting edge, but the treatment feels like home.
Dr. Chase Nesloney graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. He continued his dental education at UT Health Science Center San Antonio, graduating with honors in 2014. He completed his post-doctoral residency program at UTHSCSA, where he focused on advanced dental techniques, including removal of wisdom teeth, implant dentistry, IV sedation (sleep dentistry), and complex patient management.
Nesloney Dental Studio offers a full range of comprehensive dental care with a focus on overall oral health. Dr. Nesloney’s goal is high-quality, conservative dentistry with a personalized approach.
“If we can keep you healthy, less dentistry is the best dentistry,” Dr. Nesloney says. “That’s why regular visits are important. We can catch any issues early and resolve them with fewer complications.”
Dr. Nesloney understands most patients are hesitant to visit the dentist. For that reason, he offers a variety of solutions to manage patients’ concerns. TVs installed on the ceiling allow patients to enjoy their favorite shows while they receive first-class dental care. Noise-cancelling headphones and cozy blankets help create a welcoming environment.
As a general dentist offering oral surgery services, Dr. Nesloney can help with a full range of dental needs. His extensive training allows him to keep most patients in-house for their comprehensive treatment. This means fewer visits to the dentist and usually eliminates the need to visit multiple doctors.
Nesloney Dental Studio boasts a fully digital practice. This means dental care is accomplished faster and more efficiently with less time spent waiting. When patients need dental surgery, Dr. Nesloney virtually plans each case on the computer before physically completing any treatment. This digital workup allows Dr. Nesloney and the patient to have a better understanding of what to expect and what to prepare for, ultimately leading to better treatment outcomes.
CEREC CAD/CAM technology allows Dr. Nesloney to make full coverage crowns and veneers in about two hours. This eliminates the need for a temporary crown, second visit and second round of anesthesia.
Where Dr. Nesloney and his team really shine is in creating smile makeovers. These customized treatment plans address multiple dental concerns to enhance the overall appearance of the patient’s smile. The team assesses teeth, gums, facial structure, and oral health to develop a personalized plan that combines cosmetic procedures to achieve optimal results.
For example, during the planning phase Nesloney Dental Studio has the technology to create a “test drive” of the patient’s new custom smile design. First, Dr. Nesloney gathers several measurements, assesses the needed treatment, and produces a virtual mock-up of the end result. Then, a 3D printer produces a model of the “test drive” that the patient and Dr. Nesloney can physically assess before beginning treatment. This way, they can see the finish line before they ever start.
Additionally, Nesloney Dental Studio offers dental sedation for any and all procedures. Sedation dentistry helps patients relax during their appointment. Whether a routine cleaning or a complex procedure, their knowledge and expertise help patients feel at ease throughout treatment.
Dr. Nesloney offers nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation. Commonly referred to as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is a mild anxiolytic that is delivered through a mask placed over your nose. This type of sedation is effective for patients with minimal dental anxiety. Nitrous oxide induces relaxation and can help alleviate any nervousness or discomfort during a dental procedure.
Oral sedation involves the administration of an oral medication prior to dental treatment. This type of sedation is ideal for short to moderate-length procedures and is suitable for patients with minimal to moderate dental anxiety. Oral sedation helps create a state of deep relaxation, allowing you to remain calm and comfortable throughout your visit.
IV sedation is mainly used for longer, more complex dental procedures and surgical treatments. It involves the administration of medication directly into a vein, inducing a deeper level of sedation. IV sedation is highly effective in ensuring your comfort and relaxation during procedures such as wisdom teeth removal and dental implant surgery.
Nesloney Dental Studio is also in network for many PPO insurances. This is just one of the many ways Dr. Nesloney helps ensure his patients can access the dental treatment they need.
With a family approach and advanced technology, Nesloney Dental Studio can give families the dental care they need with caring, efficient, effective service.
