Nectar Bath and Beauty Treats will be leveraging their production facility to start making hand sanitizers as the coronavirus crisis escalates.
Las Vegas, NV – March 20, 2020 – A popular bath and beauty company based out of Las Vegas was forced to activate temporary layoffs to over 120 of its employees this past week due to the financial implications that the coronavirus pandemic has caused. In an effort to give employees their jobs back, the company who is known for their whimsical soaps and body care products will now begin to use their production facility that normally makes bakery inspired soaps and bath products will now churn out bottles of hydroalcoholic gel, aka hand sanitizer. “Through this initiative we will start to fill orders for hand sanitizers as early as next week, which will help to maintain as many workers salaries as possible and we hope that the additional sanitizers will be distributed soon to allow our Las Vegas community access to a product that has been impossible to find elsewhere.” says CEO Tom Taicher.
Nectar would like to also remind everyone that regularly washing your hands is one of the best ways of combatting the spread of the virus and they will continue to produce handmade soaps to support their local community even though all of their stores are currently closed for the safety of their employees and customers.
