With the most recent “farewell” tour from rock band KISS interrupted by COVID-19, the band has opted to say farewell to 2020 with a New Year’s Eve livestream.
KISS will perform from The Royale Beach at Atlantis Dubai on New Year’s Eve and in the process will attempt to set the world’s record for largest pyrotechnic display.
“On New Year’s Eve KISS will rock the heavens, shake the earth and blaze the way out of 2020 with the largest and most bombastic celebration in our and anyone else’s history,” said the band in a statement announcing the show. “We all need it. We all deserve it. Here’s to 2021.”
The show will feature a COVID-cleared live audience, over 50 cameras and 360-degree views of the performance.
Tickets are priced from $39.99 up to $999 for a VIP package.
Fans can purchase tickets through kiss2020goodbye.com.
The KISS “End of the Road” tour was scheduled to play both Hartford and Mansfield, Massachusetts last summer.
