The memo was inked by Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohammad Shaker, Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Al-Zawati and GCCIA Chairman Sheikh Nawaf Al Khalifa.
The signing of the deal came on the sidelines of the 13th version of the Arab Ministerial Council of Electricity held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
The current power grid projects linking Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Sudan, together with Gulf and Arab Maghreb ones, are all conducive to the planned Arab power grid project, in addition to pan-Arab development in general, he remarked.
